Live Auction (Online Bidding)

On the scheduled sale date, the live auction begins. It typically moves quickly and usually lasts only a few minutes.

Once the live auction starts, participants place bids in real time. The bid amount can be increased by one or more increments above the current bid.

The auto-bid feature helps maintain the leading position: the system automatically places the minimum necessary increment on the participant's behalf. This allows winning a vehicle below the maximum bid if the auction does not reach that amount.

Pre-bidding during the live auction — a pre-bid can be placed up to two minutes before the lot appears in the live auction. The pre-bid competes in the live auction and may win if no other bidder places a higher bid during either the pre-bidding stage or the live auction.

Important: if a pre-bid and a live bid are equal, the live auction participant is given priority as the high bidder.

Monster Bid – allows placing a bid that exceeds the standard increment, bypassing sequential increases.
